Playoff Eligibility Requirements
“3-2-1” Policy: Attend 3 local clinics (Any 1 on Match Analysis, Any 1 on Fouls and Misconduct, and Any 1 Mid-Season Clinic), work 2 scrimmages, and attend the Association/Rules Clinic on 2/18

Becoming a Referee

What do you need to do to become a High School Soccer Referee?
1. Register and pay the $61 booking fee. For the Fall season you must register with NCHSAA by June 15 or pay an additional fee. For the Spring season you must register by December 15. Registration is now through the Arbiter here.
You need only register once per school year.
2. Successfully pass the online NFHS test.
3. Attend a NCHSAA Rules Clinic
4. Pay the Association booking fee
5. Participate in a scrimmage

Wake County Schools are moving to RefPay through Arbiter. If you are already a RefPay user you must link our association to your RefPay account. If you are not a RefPay user you must register if you do games in Wake County. Instructions are found here.
